2004 E320 window switch problem
My '04 E320 passenger side window switch isn't functional, however, I can raise and lower the passenger window with the main panel swich on my driver's side door. All other widows work fine.
Where's a good place to start troubleshooting, folks?
Thanks.

It sounds like the passenger side window switch may have a faulty connection or the switch itself is failing. Since you can operate the window from the driver's master switch, the issue is likely isolated to the switch assembly or the wiring specific to that door. There could also be a problem with the downstream connections or the circuits that communicate between the passenger switch and the window motor. Corrosion or a broken wire might be interrupting the signal from the passenger switch, preventing it from functioning correctly. I recommend running a full system scan to check for any fault codes in the relevant control modules. There should be fault codes on at least one or more control modules related to this issue. Get a full system scanner. the youcanic full system scanner is very good at diagnosing all systems, but there are other scan tools that can do this as well. Just be careful to use a full system scanner, or you may scan the car and see no fault codes since some scanners can’t read all vehicle systems.
