S55 (W220) Internal Compressed Air System Issue
Evening Everyone, I'm brand new to this forum so please be kind. I recently acquired a 2005 S55 from my father in law. One of those, if you can fix it you can have it deals. It has alot of issues, but I want to focus on just the internal compressed air system which seem to pretty much control everything inside these cars.
I had it running and working for about 24 hours when I heard a air leak. I disconnected the battery and then pulled the fuse to the system. I'm going to search for the leak when I have an hour or 5 to dedicate. But here is my question.
Assuming I have a busted connector or "hard part" not just a line. Is the pressure in these systems low enough that some epoxy will work to contain a leak or will I need to search out new parts?

Hoses can be repaired with repair kits. Generally you will have leaking dynamic bladders and they are very hard to fix permanently with adhesives if they will get use. Some will work but if you have to glue five of them, some inevitably will leak. I’ve used various adhesives and vinyl inflatable repair kits. Some bladders are available oem, some on alibaba. Use xentry to pinpoint the cause so you don’t have to search.
