I just sold my GL450 and am looking at a '09 CLK 550 Cabriolet. The question I have regards the AMG badge on the trunk. Should the car be designated CLK 55 or CLK 550? I looked in the AMG forum and they only seem to refer to a 550 v. a 55. This is my first question, I'm sure there will be more. Thanks for any help.

The CLK 55 ended production in 2006 as a cab and in 2005 as a coupe. I have a 2005 CLK55. The CLK550 was produced from 2007-2009. It is not a AMG but the performance is very close. The badge was most likely put on my the previous owner. It really shouldn’t be there as it’s inaccurate.
