2008 E350 4MATIC Sport Package suspension colors??
Hello all,
I'm trying to find the right color code for my benz. My car is optioned with the "952 sport package
"
I called my local dealership's parts desk and gave them my VIN but they weren't able to tell me the exact springs I needed.
Both of my OEM front springs broke months ago and after replacing them with cheap ebay strut kits I tossed them at my towns landfill. If anyone has the right color codes I would really appreciate it!
the drivers side after the spring broke (same result for passenger side)
passenger side with stock ride height
Current ride height on passengers side
Current ride height on drivers side
drivers side with stock ride height

You should really be able to look them up in EPC. You could get a knock off copy on eBay in the $10 range. I'm surprised the dealership couldn't look it up, I've looked it up for mine and got the right spring part number. Even the aftermarket struts should have the spring clip to adjust the height. A broken spring will absolutely affect the ride height. The Bilstein strut at Rockauto is probably the cheapest. They don't cross reference it correctly so you have to go to Bilstein's site and find the correct part number and then just order that part number on rockauto.
