Hey guys,

I was recently notified of an over the air update that further optimizes the 12v battery use. The car downloaded the update but will not install it for some reason. Has anyone seen this? I’m sure the dealer can do it but I’m trying to save myself a 2 hour round trip.

 

I actually came today to ask about this update. Which I will post in another thread. To answer your question I had the same update and it installed fine. I've never seen an update say deferred for a technical issue but my understanding is you need to be charged up pretty good so I would start there (trickle charge maybe). Then try again, especially if you don't drive the car often. If that still fails, it might be something to hae the dealer address.

 

I had been driving everyday since my daily had been at the shop. At the dealership now and they can’t figure out which update it is. They can get the car to tell them what update serial number it is so they can’t query it. They’re going system by system and getting updated.
