SL/R231: 12 V power socket in centre armrest not working

12 V power socket in centre armrest not working
The power socket in the centre armrest is not working. I’ve checked all the fuses all thing good is it the actual socket itself that is failed or am I missing something? Any advice would be appreciated thank you.

If this for the 2003 SL55 or a R231 SL?
New purchase? If so, people love to tap these lines for radar detectors or dash cams so it could be the cable or a bad socket. A multimeter will help...

Also on a slightly different note my drivers window does not close fully. I’ve tried the resetting process of holding the button down for 10 seconds and up for 10 seconds but has not changed. Wondering if anybody has any idea
