I’m having some issues with seat adjuster on my 2000 E320. The seat will only move backwards by about 2” and then it stops. But if I use the seat memory button it goes exactly where it was set to. So, it seems the seat functions with the memory button but is not responsive using the individual button.
Perform a search on "W210 power seat control switch". Replace the old malfunctioning switch. Have industrial adhesive and multiple C-clamps, and door panel clips on-hand because the car is old and the door panel will fall apart.
You will need "mercedes door panel clips" for the ones that break.
Expect the black plastic mounts to pull off of the door panel (thus the industrial adhesive and C-clamps). Photo is of rear door panel; the same will happen to the front door panel
