Rear Differential Noise
I have a c43 2020, at 60,000km my rear differential started to make noise at speeds under throttle 80-100km/h. Something like a melusine/whinning. Changing the oil didn't help.
So a professional rebuild was done, including adjustment. Contact is ok. The noise shifted slightly to another speed and started even without throttle. Now it's after the second adjustment and it does 90-95km/h with throttle and 100-90 without throttle. The flex discs and cardan bearing (original bearing) were also replaced.
So would it be better to buy a used differential or is the defect somewhere else?

If you are talking about the noise above, there is really no real fix.

If you follow further in that thread forgot which page the 4th diff started whining again later so there is no real fix. The differential likely won't actually fail, I just accept it as a characteristic of this model. FWIW, the 2019 e450 coupe my family member had also have such whining noise.
