Finally Tuned my Car - with Dyno Results (C63 Non-S)
I bought my car (2017 C63 non-S Coupe) in 2019 and had left it stock with the exception of adding some carbon fiber parts to the exterior and changing the engine air filter to one from BMC. A few months back I installed a set of Red Star heat shielded downpipes with the high flow HJS cats and it reinvigorated my appreciation of the car. So I went ahead and added a tune through the local shop I use.
I had them do a before and after dyno and I'm really happy with the results. Picked up 102 hp and 98 ft.-lbs. at the wheels. Car drives great and feels much more responsive throughout. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.
Nice - BMC Filter are a good alternative to oem paperfilter but i would not use them in dusty regions.
What do you now with such more power ?
Has the tuning guy also updated the MCT and CPC ?
My car is a 2017 (pre-facelift) so no CPC to worry about. Didn't do anything to the transmission control module as it doesn't seem to be necessary at this level. Car shifts gears without issue.
I live in the city so no dust issues to worry about.
