FRONT BRAKE CALIPER SLIPER PINS
Hi guys unfortunately just received a call from dealer ship when going to replace new front disc's and pads they has come across issue that the slider pins are "both front each side are welded stuck and cant be removed without damaging calliper" they just want to replace with 2 new calipers. Is this common and do you guts recommend I try a independent first to try save them or do I need to give into there £2500 replacements. any thoughts would be appreciated.

Slider pins can seize when badly corroded. Do you live where roads are heavily salted in the winter? Were you shown the calipers and provided an explanation about why repair is not possible?
