Got it...... but it required making a tool that would fit up there. It was just a 2 jaw wrench bent to fit as square as possible.
Hitting the mount with MAP gas and when it was almost red hot, hit the sensor hex with CRC Freeze off.
Right away on it with my tool and extension and it released !!
No O2 sensor tool will fit....it is impossible to slip one over the sensor even if you cut the wire off. Too much metal around the end, like the motor mount and heat shield.
Taking a sawsall to the body of the sensor isn't easy. It has to come in at an angle and will probably jump all over. Maybe if you have a hoist and can stabilize it but not with the car 3 ' off the ground.
