Digital Extras Purchasing
Just had an ordeal trying to add the Dashcam option from the phone app. Ordered it, the charge hit my card but did not go through to the car. Called them and they said they would refund the charge but to try again from the Mercedes Me web page on my computer. They admitted the phone app is not reliable. This I knew from my last car, an AMG SL that reported the top being down when it was in fact up and locked. This time it went through and is working. Bottom line, Mercedes needs to fix this app once and for all and to anyone looking to purchase any digital extras don't use the app !

1. When you click on Owners info, you are taken to a website where you have to drill down and put in your car's model as if they didn't know.
2. Why does it show a wallbox for my not electric Car? Again it's like the ap does not know what car it is.
3. Can't open or close the windows or top from the ap. (No doubt because of some liability bullcrap.)
A decent high school coder could do a better job.

What pisses me off about purchasing the Digital Extras is that for the first year everything was supposed to be included like streaming from Amazon music (assuming I have a subscription)..
It never worked until at the end of the first year and I paid $150 to renew. Now, it works. Bull****.

There is so much wrong with that ap:

The only Digital Extra that I'm being offered is AMG Track Pace, which I have no use for in this particular car.

Edit: Maybe I have the hardware because I have the pinnacle trim, which includes the augmented video feature and the forward facing camera.

My bad should had explained it, basically that camera where you see the blue arrows appear during navigation overlaying showing which exact exit to in a roundabout or which exact street to turn on.
