My oil change is an annual routine and Wally has been my go-to for over 13 years. I’ve always received a rebate without issue, but this time I’m a bit wary. I submitted the forms 5 weeks ago and like many others, I never got an email confirmation or a reference number to track my submission. Honestly, I doubt anyone will end up with the cup, but who can say for sure? You can check your submission status here, but it often just says “no submission was found.” When I called, they told me to wait 8 -12 weeks and call back if nothing happens. Let the waiting game begin...

Some of the promotional stuff is pretty forgettable. We still get it, then every few years we go through the cabinets and throw a lot of it out. Goodwill and Habitat will take ceramics Goodwill some glassware, but plastic is discard. When I worked at Mobil in the ‘80s the marketing guys would show up with boxes of promo cups, pens, hats, note pads, organizers, etc and distribute them at meetings. Waste bins were full that evening.
