Went to check my washer fluid today and noticed that it is brown. Think I have seen it this color before a while back. Perhaps brown is color MB dealer uses?
Does the fluid need to be changed? If so, can I just use a shop vac to suck out some of the brown (old) fluid and add new fluid?

I'd be curious what is swirling around in the bottom of your fluid tank- a vacuum with a clear 3/8" hose taped to it should get down there and let you see.

Do not use M-B dealership as too far away; very long wait times for even routine maintenance; very expensive. So use local indy that specializes in European and other foreign cars.
Nissan dealership has someone check levels and fill as necessary while attendant "writes "up the service order.
