Put on Redstar exhaust on my 2025 G550
So guys been on this forum for a year now. Figured id let everyone know about my recent adventure. Bought a redstar exhaust down pipe and had the local shop put it on. Five minutes later got a CEL. Called Eurocharged tunning company and they said they dont have any software for 2025 g classes.
Now the new sound on the v6 sounds awesome. Almost like a G63 does. I actually ljke the sound and better response.
Does anyone know of any tuner who cracked the 2025 ECU? And will this mess up my car? I have over 7k miles on it now. Bought it brand new last summer.

Sorry - did you use an OBD (on board diagnostic) scanner to check for DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes). Did the installer perhaps leave the O2 sensors disconnected or uninstalled, for example? This would produce DTCs and trigger the check engine light. If you don't have a scanner, stop at an auto store where they might do the scan for you at no charge.

This would produce DTCs and trigger the check engine light. If you don't have a scanner, stop at an auto store where they might do the scan for you at no charge.

It's not clear whether the pipes accommodate installation of the O2 sensors, but if they're not installed, this is likely the problem. Hopefully you don't live where annual emissions testing is required.
