Hi everyone. I’ve installed Pure 900 turbos and ran into issues with the intake tract. At a relatively low boost pressure of 1.90 bar (27-28 psi), first it blew the charge pipe off the throttle body twice, and then the rubber grommet from the oil separator (where it plugs into the intake manifold) started popping out. First on one side, then immediately on the other side. Has anyone dealt with this kind of problem and how did you fix it? It actually feels more like excessive vacuum when the throttle closes. Both oil separator grommets were torn and destroyed.
I replaced both oil separators about six months ago. Could this be an issue with the bypass valves? Can the tune somehow control them, or are they purely mechanical?
