davebar1 - I've been detailing my cars over the years and just applied Pan the Organizer's 8 year ceramic coating to my wife's '26 glc300 with 450 miles on it. I did the full foam cannon routine but if I were going to just wash the car with a good microfiber mit and bucket, I've always had very good luck with Meguiars Deep Crystal Car Wash. Pan the Organizer web site and on YouTube also has some good products and tutorials if you want to go a bit more professional.

thanks for the info. It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything beyond washing a car but this one is red and really shows the dirt. I’ll probably need something more to protect the finish

davebar1 - I know what you mean, previously I owned a 2010 Guards Red Porsche Boxster. I used the same Meguiars Deep Crystal Car Wash but used 303® Graphene Nano Spray Coating, it is a graphene oxide-based spray that provides 12 months of protection & creates a water-beading effect on treated areas. It worked well but since I was going through the decontamination process wanted the 8 year protection. I'd recommend you visit the Pan the Organizer's YouTube content and understand how to protect your car's finish. Red can fade if you don't put a protective coat on it. I'm a real fan of 303's Aerospace Protectant for the interior, I do all the plastic interior areas. The door seals and the flex hose you see in the door jam, always very happy with the outcome.
