The car is black and black fully loaded. Should I take a risk car has 200,000 miles don’t know so much info talking with the seller with more information should I walk or run away? this car is only to be used for summer weekends and put away in the winter. What are your thoughts? Kind of like a toy?
I mean only if it’s a clean title and Suspension and tuneup. was done recently.
but I’ll definitely not buy it if it’s savage title or so on so forth

Depends on price. I’d be more concerned about interior wear / squeaks than the drivetrain if it’s made it that far it’s probably been pretty well serviced
fwiw I have 2 AMG with 100k+ and it’s been smooth sailing - sure they require the standard stuff that any car of age will need - engine mounts, tires, etc. 50k or 150k these things happen so it’s part of the journey - but at a heavily discount price from a new car!
if you only drive it occasionally, I’ll say go for it and enjoy
My last 2 Mercedes's were over 100k & 150k miles when I bought them. I look over them like any other German car I'd want to buy, how was it taken care of, are there maintenance receipts, etc. I would always recommend a PPI, and if the car is out of area to your local independent shop, a MB dealership would be fine- just more $$$.
I would say go look at it if the photos are clean, go drive it, take it around some turns and on the freeway. If everything else checks out and it 'feels good' while driving, I'd get the PPI and enjoy your new car! I know everyone says this, but keep in mind you are maintaining a $100k+ car, it's not cheep, and stuff will break. But when you buy it for like $2 does it really matter?.....

You are completely right, the seller did answer your question (and the photos answered it for me). Outside of maybe some upgraded rims, if anything else is changed I'm out.
And you might say "thats dumb, it looks great"... But what else did they change? Also, they had the time to get new bumpers but not polish the swirls out of the paint, or provide matinence history (maybe they did both, but can you see where I'm coming from).
You're not really buying the car, you're buying the seller. If you want to do mods etc., great! But do that on your own so you can ensure the work is done right with good parts, not the prior guy who took it through a car wash 80 times to ruin the paint, and slapped some rando bumpers on...

OP a Carfax report will help to fill in some blanks. A service advisor at MB may be kind enough to offer an VMI that will speak of all done at MB. Don't be too surprised to learn that a lot of the last 100K of miles didn't get dealer service.

Changing to AMG nose says the bumper cover was ready for replacement (or worse) and got an upgrade in the process. Verify the lights are OEM with Intelligent lighting and that all cameras are in place. That stuff is uber expensive.

probably was in a crash that’s why he replaced the front and rear bumpers he never replied to me so whatever probably a money pit looking at a 24/25 S Class cause the facelift is gonna drop the price down probably by 15% so that’s my next plan 2027 February when I’m looking Thank you all for your inquiries and knowledgeable.

I have sent few inquiries to the seller. The price is too good to be true honestly even with high mileage. Unless it is salvaged title then we can argue on price.
Seller is not responding at all until he sent me message asking me if I want to know more, send me a text. I suspect this is some sort of scam but he is not responding at all.
I would just pass it on because whatever the price I don't want to deal with any engine , tranny related issues . I have still high hopes for those engines too , don't get me wrong but how far could it serve nicely without having issues ? Even with a warranty I think I would not buy it

Well asking price is $11,500 so if I take it for 10k, it would be great. it is a big gamble I know. But I have lost so much money on stock market due to foolishly buying stocks for bad companies seeking high returns so losing 10k on this car won’t be the worst investment I have ever made

im gonna hold off on the w223 and probably get the facelift when I see it with my own eyes ..
If I like it I’ll buy it in 2028/2029 I want to hear about feedback from owners and plus let them take the hit of the depreciation
but definitely getting one with at least a year left of warranty so I can extend the warranty if I choose to keep the car
