AC Pressure Sensor Replacement Help

Hi guys,

Hoping for some help with replacing the AC pressure sensor on my C63 W204.

Had the fault diagnosed and the AC system professionally emptied, so now I'm trying to figure out how to replace the actual sensor.

Can the sensor be swapped out from underneath like any W204? or can it only be accessed with the bumper off from the front?

I took a picture when I serviced the car and there are shields blocking access to the area, picture attached.

Thanks in advance!

Isn't it under here? That shroud comes off.

You don’t need the bumper off.
Jack the car up, pull the undertray, and you can reach it from underneath. It’s on the passenger side (left side if you’re facing the car), near the radiator support, tucked behind that shield you saw.

Just remove the small plastic splash shield right there 3 or 4 screws and you’ll see the sensor screwed into the AC line. Unplug, unscrew, new one in, recharge.
No need to touch the bumper at all.

Thanks guys! I replaced the sensor and had the A/C recharged. All good now.

Thanks again for the help.
