About To Purchase 2009 C63 Need Advice/Tips

Looking for advice on purchasing a 2009 C63 AMG W204 — need tips from owners
What's up everyone. I'm in the process of purchasing a 2009 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG W204 with 60,000 miles and I want to make sure I go into this the right way. I've done my research but I wanted to hear from actual owners and enthusiasts who know these cars inside and out. Most banks are declining due to the vehicle's age. Has anyone successfully financed a W204 C63 and if so what lender did you use? Credit unions? Personal loan? Any specific lenders that are known to work with older performance vehicles?
What should I specifically be looking for on a 2009? I know about the head bolt issue on pre-2011 cars — what else should I have an inspector check? Any known problem areas on this year and mileage? What should I budget for maintenance and ownership on one of these? Any surprises you wish someone had told you before buying? Anything else you wish you knew before buying your C63 — I'm all ears.

Appreciate any input. This community knows these cars better than anyone and I want to make sure I'm making a smart decision.

Also if I cant get that one what is the highest possible mileage I should consider buying I definitely buy a higher mileage one flat out but not really keen to buying a car with 100k miles.

Your best bet is to look at what some of these big name car auctions use for financing. I used JJ best banc on a car 15 years ago. It's always tough to get financing on anything older than 10 years so don't expect prime rates. It actually was pretty difficult for anything older than 6-7 years until covid times. 60k on a 2009 should be a pretty clean car. As long as you're putting a decent amount down and the value of the car aligns it shouldn't be too difficult to make it happen. Average ownership cost as a daily is probably around 3-4k per year. This excludes insurance and gas. You will easily go through 1 full set of tires per year which can range $1200-$2000. probably 2 sets of rears. This is also factoring in that everything is good to go as is. It may cost more to get it well sorted and to that point.

Head bolts. and if someone raged on that and didnt do those.....well camshaft lifters. those 2 are the real big ones.

My 2 cents:
the stock suspension is absolutely horrible for something so powrful and well its a 2009 so u got some age but the questionbecomes how were those 60k miles driven. cracked springs in rear very common. coiover upgrade was best $$ ever spent. Lots of little things that are relatively cheap and IMO the w204 is super easy to work on vs most esp anything newer. Never left me stranded but if i had to bring my w204 to the shop everytime yikes totally not worth it and if your financing it with monthly payment just tread carefully and dont push it if you dont have info on history.
At 60k i had to rebuild the transmission in mine and while that seems to be no so common at that milage **** happens

Not everyone drives their cars the same. I was basing it off of a normal adult driver. Rear tire life for me is around 3k miles or less. The fronts usually 10-12k. It's not my daily any more though so tire cost isn't much of a consideration. Head bolts failures are far and few. Camshaft / lifter failures at 60k are far and few as long as was regularly serviced.
