W463A G63 Akrapovic full carbon interior
The owner decided to replace all those with brand new OEM parts, which already made a big difference in cabin freshness. But while the car was in, we also tackled a few upgrades that took it to another level.
The stock system was fine, but the owner wanted more drama. We fitted the full titanium Akrapovic setup ,The rear silencer alone drops from 22.3 kg to 12.4 kg (that’s a 44.5% weight saving). With the high‑flow Link Pipe and Akrapovic’s tuning, the sound is now noticeably sharper, louder, and properly aggressive when you push it.Officially, it adds about 18.8 HP and 35.9 Nm, And you can actually feel that extra shove in the mid‑range.
This G63 already had the AMG carbon steering wheel, but the rest of the dash and door trims were gloss black, A mismatch in weave and feel.We swapped them for the full ERS carbon kit: centre console, instrument cluster, dashboard grab handles, front and rear door inserts. The consistency completely transforms the cabin, It now looks cohesive, more upscale, and far more special.A small visual tweak, but it ties the exterior together and echoes the carbon theme at the back.
The car feels rejuvenated, cleaner inside, angrier outside, and the whole package now has a cohesive, bespoke character. The owner was thrilled with how it turned out, and I have to admit, even we were impressed by the transformation. If anyone’s curious about part numbers, fitment, or installation quirks, feel free to ask in the thread, happy to share what we learned.
