Avalon King Giveaway - Need Volunteers!

Hi all,

Avalon King is hosting a giveaway and is looking for 1-3 influencers on this site to participate. The product they are asking volunteers to test is a type of ceramic coating. The giveaway they are hosting is quite flexible, they ideally would like volunteers who are
1) in a position to coat their car quickly (ie. not people who are in the depths of winter)
2) are frequent posters or liable to review on the forum

They don't have a model preference other than a more popular/mainstream model vs a super high end one. They are targeting more of the hobbyist DIY crowd. To learn more about their company and what they do, check out their website here: www.avalonking.com.

Let me know by replying to this thread if you are interested in participating.

Thank you,
Cheryl

I started at 5am today and just finished up a few minutes ago. I must say I think it came out nice but I was in a time constraint since I needed to get to work. I will say I never thought I was putting enough on the applicator and seemed like it was so little or hardly anything getting on the car. I kept telling myself, little goes a long way and its ceramic coating you don't need much. I'm not a professional detailer, yes it could've been better. I cleaned it twice with soap, used Iron remover, rinsed it down for a good 5-6 minutes, clay mitt, rubbing alcohol and then the ceramic.I did not do my wheels just the car.

Avalon king review

Hey everyone, finally got around to installing this kit on both of my e55’s, I must say it is a easy install and a quality product, especially Bc here in SoCal it rained 48 hours after the install, so I have seen how it beads. For the price I would highly reccomend it and if you have 3 hours to spend doing it properly it is a very easy job

The weather finally changed long enough over here to give me a chance to apply my Armor Shield IX kit. I will tell you that it is, bar none, one hell of a product. Water beads up and rolls right off. Makes keeping it clean a lot easier. I do have some tips that i will reiterate that others might have already stated. First, clay bar it first! No reason to apply on top of grit. Second, make sure the area you apply is shaded and that it is not too hot. It was about 70 degrees here. I have some pictures of how it looked afterwards. The camera does not give it justice. Great product.

Is this promo still going? I would love to see what it would do for my black e55. It was highly recommended by another member here.
