After you fix your oil tubes and or lifters will you continue to use redline oil?

Mark, FWIW, when I took my car to your friends shop about 3 months ago to talk with him about some work I saw your car sitting there. I asked him what you where doing this time? He said you were changing to a different oil. I asked myself if this was a smart idea with an older mileage car. Somewhere on the Forums I have seen where there were people suggesting that they not chnge from a non-synthetic oil to a synthetic especially if the car was older an used to a non-synthetic oil.

Any thoughts?
