SL/R129: Limping home...

Limping home...
I was attacked by the ASR light yesterday. I work 1/2 mile from home. Santa Clara, CA... cool morning in the low 50's. Not a good warm up on the car. About 200 yards from home, hello ASR & limp mode kicked in.
So it wasn't hot. I stopped for breakfast after limping the 1/2 mile. Car started right up. It's the only time it's happened. Car has 94K miles.
The only oddity in it's operation is it idles around 600rpm while in gear when warm and if it's put in park when warm it idles at 1200rpm with a little variation up and down around 50rpm.
Sound familiar to anyone?

Okie dokie.
Read some stuff about the harness... Some other stuff about a transmission sensor... some other stuff about an idle control thing. I'm cool with fixing anything, just want to make sure I fix it once so I have the dinero to eat! The car runs great outside of that and it's still only done it that one time. Put about 150 miles on her today with no probs from the ASR. I'll focus on that so I can make the NHRA finals at Pomona in 3 weeks and feel like I'll make it!
