I became the proud qwner of a 92 300SL @ month ago. Always wanted one and finally fate stepped in and bam I got it. It's got @160K (speedo on-op) both motor and tranny seem good /good compression. It's got some issues with the top system. Don't have shop manual got all data. I must give kudos to you SL guys in forums you were a lot of help for my intro in this car without which I would have been lost, but I've got perseverance and not alot of money so I'll be a hands on guy.

Welcome Rick! This is the place where you will find most MB answers. Use the search function and read through what you can find. Arguably, most threads get off-topic here and there, but there is a lot of good knowledge and info here. Have fun with your new 'toy'. Frankly, I love my SL. I'm sure you'll love yours... And cuss at it occasionally. LOL But then the sun will come out, the top will go down, and all will be right with the world as you cruise down the road!
