Left Lower Round Speaker
I just purchased my wife an R129 for her Christmas gift. Beautiful 95 with about 45k pampered miles on it. Still smells like new leather and barely broken in…except for my foot and the speaker grille…oops.
I’ve done an excessive amount of web research and see this pretty common (putting a foot/knee through the round lower speaker cover). However, I cannot find one anywhere; does anyone have any sage advice where to get a lower driver’s side speaker cover (round) anywhere but a stealership? I can spray it to match the tan color, so color isn’t as important as a “non-cracked” version.

1995 SL320
The only ones I have found and they are not very user friendly is the Star DVD manual..I have subscribed to the Alldata and Chilton DIY and not to happy about them either. There are a couple on EBAY..One is called a Monkey Repair Manual..don't know whether it is any good either..there is yet another one on Ebay that claims it's really good..don't know whether I want to take the chance or not. Cannot understand of all the Mercedes out there, they seem to want to NOT release a Manual on the R129..My 95 SL320 has really een a good car so far and have had to do very little to keep it going. The only real problem with it is..I have to keep resetting the Hydraulic System..by disconnecting the battery then reconnecting to get the top to disconnect or to get the soft top to come up all the way and lock on the windshield. I repaired the hydraulic locks that were leaking. I heard that it may be a problem with the printed circuit board..but Im not messing with that...as long as I can at least get it to work, that's all Im worried about. I'd like to get a Illuminated Star for the front but they are a little costly on Ebay for anywhere from 298.00 to over 400.00. Then I don't know if they will work on the SL320.
