Amazing engines
Bought my 1998 SL500 with 192,000 miles on odometer.
CEL, misfire on #5, transmission in limp, FSS shows negative 42000 past the service.
So new pilot bushing, spark plugs and one coil later - took the car for smog inspection.
It passed having pollution at 10% of allowable on all counts.
