Used instrument cluster
Hello All,
I have a 1992 500sl. I purchased a used instrument cluster from EBay to replace my old one that had a lot of problems. The one i bought off ebay works great except the odometer is not functioning. Someone told me that i may need to program BCM unit. Can anyone tell me if that's true and how to go about doing that?

I have no idea what a "BCM" is; whatever, your problem is most likely a broken gear in the odometer mechanism. When I had your problem years ago a replacement gear from these folks was the fix.
