Alternator regulator replace

Hello i'm trying to replace my Regulator on my alt book says use a 19 mm socket to loosen the adjuster pully.mine has what looks like a male torq bolt small like 9 mm is this what I need to loosen to remove serpentine belt?? My car is a 1994 sl500
