SL/R129: Cruise control and infrared lock

Cruise control and infrared lock
Hi everyone
It's not that those two things are essential, but I don't something that doesn't work. I can't activate cruise control. I don't know where to begin to look for solutions. Also infrared remote control stopped working. Batteries seemed to be ok, as well as fuses. It's not working on passenger door and trunk. I can lock and unlock with the key. The green and red lights near the lock also not working.
Any ideas?

Since you checked the fuses I would check diagnostics at socket #12 of the 16- socket diagnostic connector following a procedure explained here. If you find codes you can go here to interpret them and find the relevant troubleshooting procedure.

tire size?
If the tire size are not matching the wheel sensor will not let the Cruise Control system engage. If memory serves the difference of 2% or more can set off the tire rotation sensor. It happened with one of my "wild" small side wall wheel experiments.
Also the wide and low profile tire taught me the wheel wells have limits!!!
