SL/R129: Phone removal

Phone removal
I removed the factory phone in the dash compartment.everone said to just push the wires through the back but on my car there is no room to push it through.can I just snip the wires and let it be maybe put some electrical take. The way it is the wires are all bunched up and not much room for my eyeglasses
