what diagnistic tool
can anyone tell me exactly what diagnostic tool ( make / model) will work on a 1997 SL500
I have tried several that were supposed to work but with no success.

Out Of Control!!
Any MB HHT unit or any MB DAS unit that will diagnose your vehicle via the 38pin connector----there are no model numbers, just monthly software updates---cost about 600 for laptop, mux and software----all else by yourself a hot dog!

its 1997 16 pin OBD II connector
now I just need to find right one.
