Cam magnet sealing

I've sealed the face on the cam magnet to stop the oil leakage 3x now. Recently I invested in the MB sealant, but I have the same problem. The seal is good for a few days and then it starts leaking again.

I have cleaned both surfaces very thoroughly and applied sealant where it appears to have just the right amount of ooze (sp?) around the outside.

Wondering if I need to let sealant cure before assembly, sealant on both surfaces, tightening too much, or maybe the faces are warped enough I need new parts?

Luckily it is an easy job but I am getting tired of it

Thanks.....

Cam Solenoid

This is the cam solenoid on the front of the engine that has a flat face seal. I have read many posts about issues with sealing and thickness of sealant. Will try letting sealant cure for 2 hours before mating surfaces this time if there are no other suggestions.
