Question 1995 OEM Radiator?

What company supplied the radiators installed on new SL 320s back in 1995?
Was it Mercedes-Benz or some other manufacturer? Thank you very much.

The radiator on my car has "BEHR" on it. I wonder how old it is?

There are no leaks that I know of. I check the coolant level frequently and it is always full.
It may not be performing as efficiently due to corrosion as a new one would.

No need to tossing any $$$, if your Radiator is okay,,

for best cooling results:-

put new anti-freeze coolant with new thermostat, and check the Radiator hoses, if they not gets any crack..

I am not sure that the radiator is OK, only that it is not leaking.

Still, your suggestion is a good starting point.

What I am seeing is that the temperature gauge rises to about 80 - 82 degrees Celsius,
maintains that temperature for a while, then starts building up temperature again. That
is why I suspect corrosion in the radiator and/or problems with the fans.

Yeah, you're Right,,

you may have a bad corrosion that clogged the water tunnel, or bad Thermostat spring..!,,

prefer to change them immediately..

I have concerns for the aging radiator in many benz vehicles. I feel the joints and connecting pipes will breakdown, much like the older plastic parts of any older cars
Behr was the source I have used. good product but USA Moline had products that helped 20 years ago, not even sure they are in business

Can you or anyone else give me an educated guesstimate on what a complete cooling system would cost, installed?
