Has anyone installed a SiriusXM Commander satellite radio in their R129? I'm planning on installing it in the ashtray compartment. It should fit well, my concern is wiring the connections. Here is the wiring diagram:

Yes I have had the Sirius XM in several vehicles. The R 129 original head unit did not have a connection for the AUX. I replaced the head unit with a pop up screen multi function DVD player all the junctions were like your wiring diagram the antenna exited under the soft top storage area and the magnetic fob sat on the trunk lid area Plug and play.
I would not buy another head unit like the Clarion because at 100MPH it is hard to watch the movie

V12 or 4.2 straight 6?? many good times before the Gov. stepped into my wasteful ways. I pushed a AMG Gull wing ( 2012) past 2 excellent!

Wow on the Gullwing! Mine was a 6, never took it that fast again! It had 160 on the speedomotor so I wanted to see if it could do it. It could! I stopped at 155 because I ran out of road!

I recall the governor or limiter was used in all the vehicles but as a shade tree mechanic I could get past those mechanical things but the new chip controlls not in my skill set. My Beta Max is still flashiing 12:00!!!
