Hello all, this is my first post so bear with me. I have a '99 SL500 that recently was in for service at the benz dealer and they broke my antenna while washing the car . They replaced the antenna but now it does not connect to the radio and it scans without hitting any stations. I also noticed that after the antenna is all the way up theres a horrible grinding noise coming from the area. I am taking it back for them to finish fixing but I wanted some opinions. What did they do to my car!!! Thanks in advance.

the antenna is either not getting power or the actual motorola plug isn't connected

Thanks for the reply, I’m assuming someone just didn’t connect the radio because they were just trying to get it done before going home. Taking it back tommorow, will update after.
