And it is still used in the Pagani Zonda, from Italy.

There are stories about how these engines came about...

One of them is that Pagani cancelled a big order and hence MB were left with these engines and didn't know what to do with them.
Some genius at AMG said... let's stick them into some of our cars.

Don't know how true that one is.
