r129 Bose Speaker Part Numbers

Hi all,
Ive searched through here as well as another forum page regarding the bose 6.5" mid-range door speaker that is part of MB OEM P/N 129-820-19-02. I just need to replace the 6.5" speaker. In looking, I found that It is easier and much cheaper to call bose and get the part from them, however these posts were all OLD and a newer post said that bose no longer has the part. Has anyone had luck recently with this??

What was the outcome of this? I'm really struggling to get Bose to come to the party as they say I have to go through MB Dealer - who say it is discontinued and no longer available. Anyone else have recent success on this? I've read all available information, spent hours on the phone with Bose and MB and I guess now am at the point where replacement with new parts may not be an option despite knowing both MB (MB p/n 1298201902) and Bose (Bose p/n 133619) numbers

@bashies I think your best bet at this point is to go to some site like Crutchfield and find some quality after market 6.5" mid range alternatives to the OEM Bose as I don't think it is possible to buy them anymore. Please do let us know if you are able to get through to them. I went down this rabbit hole myself recently to no avail, and conceded and decided to just get some aftermarket door tweeters and mid ranges, which I am researching which to finalize on now.

I'd be interested to know which option you end up going for and how they sound. My understanding was the different impedance from Bose/non Bose meant that the speakers would be much quieter, throwing all the sound settings out. Then there's the connection issues, correct sizing etc. to address additionally.
