picked up a 2007 SL550 last week. has 46,xxx miles on it. did some basic maintenance on it right off the bat;
tranny flush, ABC flush, Vario pump flush, steering flush, oil/filter change.

here I go again, off topic but I’m sure I’ll be forgiven. Visited a private art museum today. In Martigny, Switzerland. With a ‘car-corner’, reached through a tunnel. They have two Mercs, in running condition, as is the entire collection. 200km/h.... in 1929.
Bought this beautiful ‘04 SL500 over the weekend. The pewter paint is stunning, gorgeous charcoal interior in awesome condition, what a fun car to drive AND gaze at. It’s the younger sibling to our ‘73 450SL.
Just got this lovely 2007 with 28k miles, and took this snap on this evenings first sunset cruise along Mulholland Highway in LA. It’s my third SL, but already it’s my favorite. All the upgrades of the 550 with all the elegance of the 230, just perfect!
