What's the difference for a Sport Pack?

Looking at AfterLifeBand's nice SL500 pic, I wondered what the differences are for the sport pack? Can't seem to find it anywhere for an R230.

For my R129 it was dramatic - swooping side panels, changed bumpers front and rear, 18" wheels etc. But I can't see much visible difference on the R230.

Anyone care to list the changes?

AMG front bumper/AMG rear bumper/AMG side panels/18 inch AMG rims...19 with 030 package and shifters on the steering wheel. Big difference to some, not so much to others.

Basically the SL500/600 with AMG sport looks exactly like a SL55 but without Quad exhaust and AMG logos.

There are actually 2 different AMG rear bumpers. The ones for the SL55/65 have a mesh insert in the middle as well as being able to accommodate the quad exhaust while the standard AMG sport pkg rear bumper utilizes a black insert in the middle with smaller openings for the exhaust tips.

IMO the sport package made a big difference on 500's, not so much on 550's.....i think u are better of buying a nice set of wheels instead of sport pack for the 550.............

I chose the AMG package because I like the aggressive look and I also added a signature wheel (Brabus polished metal). However, remember the 07 models come with "plastic" on the sides of the front bumper-----I thought it would be metal as on the SL55's. Just thought you would not notice that in the pictures of the front AMG bumper.
