This SL500 diamond silver fully loaded is for sale at 100K no reserve. The car list price fully loaded is over 102K. Interesting to see that this seller is not interested in making a few grand, he just wants his new SL55 coming in soon.

Could be that the market is softening and he figures so long as he makes his money back, no harm done. My guess is, having 100k into the SL500 is a waste when his 55 si coming?

PS: Wow - i just saw the mileage. 11.5k! Getting what he paid for that kind of mileage will be impressive.

I agree, 11k miles is not a new car, so I think he's being optimistic. I'd certainly want to be able to see the car close up before bidding, because, depending on how it's been driven, you might need tires, brakes, touching in the odd stone chip, what about the windshield as well. For 100k, I'd want a car which was in essentially new condition and this one will not be.

11K is too much i agree. But right now that is the most reasonably priced SL on the market. All other are around 105-115K, and most of those are stock. I love how the description says the car is "fully loaded", CDplayer, power windows, power brakes, convertable, keyless entry, and premium sound system is not "fully loaded":)

Haven't seen his posts for awhile, but if I recall correctly AMG Benz invited offers on his car here on this forum first before going to EBay. Also note that the vehicle was sold at a higher "buy it now price" previously but assume the buyer couldn't get his funds together so has been relisted.

He who hesitates...... Note there is already a bid at the 100K minimum. It will be interesting to see if there are any snipers out there who will up the ante in 2 days when bidding closes.
