they have smoked on them, but i thought there was smoked ones then NICER smoked ones after 07...or am i wrong? i like smoked but want the best smoked ones. ami making sense? LOL

I see what you mean . now here is what you should do . Find a 07-up car with smoke lights off the eBay get the vin# call a local dealer to get a price on the lights Plus the part number , it worked for me

I haven't had any issues. I just got them, then got broken into. When my new wheels come in I will have them readjusted as I rub unless I have the abc button pressed 1x to raise it alittle. I luv it. I dump it when parked and raise .5" when driving.

SL55 AMG
The SL55 tail lights look great on all R230's I like the '03-'06 they're a little darker and both are LED but the older ones seem to have smaller leds for a more smooth uniform red stripe when illuminated. I also like the SL550 ones with the clears instead of the smoke...on light colored cars they really pop!
