Has anyone ever seen the fully loaded SL?

I realized that I have never seen SL with all the options available. There is always at least two or three buttons that are not available on the central unit next to the transmission.

Mine has like 6-8 missing buttons. I wonder what are the other options that I dont have?

Even in the dealership the most expensive SL65 on the lot doesnt have all the buttons

why is that?

I've seen pictures of close to all buttons used, but I don't think I've ever seen them all filled in. You need to have all the smaller options like Parktronic and other crap to get those buttons.

I have an SL55 that has most of the buttons. I do not have distronic. I do have the bottom center which is for folding mirrors which were a european only option. Purchased from dealer that somehow got access to it (Motorwerks). They automatically fold or not according to setting when car is shut off or they can be activated manually. Really cool option.

Mine bottom left is nitrous. And the middle one is the passenger-seat eject button-- so if I'm about to race someone and my gf happens to be b!tching in protest, she goes by-by

Inflatable? You must be the only one here with inflatable girlfriends-- what gives, your SL500s not working for you?

LOL, self-deprecation is a delicate thing...

I'm sure the SL would help with pulling the chicks if I were looking. Don't need to though, as I've been with the same woman for over 8 years. The car is just for me!

Self-appreciation even more so... I figure since your at 8 years you wouldn't need to stroke yourself so much-- she not giving in?

I know one thing you started. This thread sure got off topic. By the way, you have a beautiful car.

Thanks! Yeah, I do this at work meetings all the time -- starts out with an agenda, and ends up curving out to how silly something completely different is.....

I sometimes I wish I had meetings at work. That way I would actually be privy to some of the information that may get tossed around at work.

It's all moot now though. I no longer have a job. As of yesterday (Friday) I am officially unemployed.

Oh, crap, man! That sucks hard. Did you get any severance or anything that'll help until you can get a new job?

Thanks for that great chart of the buttons. I never knew what that tow truck button did. I just figured and hoped I'd never have to use it.

2 weeks vacation and 2.5 weeks of severance. I'll be collecting unemployment soon too. A whole 284 bucks a week (pre-tax)... oh be still my heart! I've been through this before, so I've got a savings account for just such an occasion. Good thing I plan ahead.

The job market is really soft around here but the good thing is that my wife has an independent consulting business and I think I can just jump in with her for a while. Until she gets sick of me, that is.
