04 Cadillac CTS-V, 04 MB SL600, 99 Mustang GT Anniversary Edition
I'd give it about an 8 depending on the deductible
Well,
What's gone wrong with my 2004 SL600 and what am I worried about.
I have a 2004 SL600 with 20k on the clock. Bought used, and no warranty.
1 year owned, and I have fixed the following that would be covered under your warranty
1. Shifter Link inside shifter ($1500 repair at the dealer)
2. Trunk lid gets stuck when roof closing ($1000 repair at the dealer)
Things that worry me about fixing in the future for my car that will be covered for you:
1. Engine issues - it's a V12 Twin Turbo - much can go wrong, and your covered $10,000 - $15000
2. Transmission issues - it's a very technically advance transmission $5000 - $10,000
3. ABC Pump (common to go out over time)
So I do think it's not so bad a warranty. Lots excluded, but included are very expensive repairs. If you're a DIY guy, you might be able to easily handle some of those smaller issues anyway. There is significant resource here and elsewhere on the net.

Depends on the price and length of coverage. The exclusion list contains a number of things that can go wrong. At any cost above $2000 for two years I'd rate it about a 3 - better than nothing.
