I am intrigued by the number of SL owners that trade up every year or so.
Rather than doing the research necessary to determine the answer to my question, I'll just ask for your description of the market forces at play.
When there is a 3-year waiting list for people ordering R230 SLs, is there much depreciation in the used R230 SL market?
When I was looking for the R129, I figured there had been $10,000 Cdn depreciation in the first 4 or 5 years, then about $ 5,000 Cdn depreciation ongoing from the fifth year and on.
Do the owners who buy each year or so sell in the private market place ... or do they get good trade in value at the MB dealership?
