Hi guys I'm back. Getting my ignition barrel replaced on my SL65, I just wanted to know is this a matter of getting a EZS removal tool from ebay, or do i need to pull apart the dash etc ? any information will be helpful guys
You need the tool which unlocks the module from the dash--then you follow the WIS instructions which includes dash work to remove the module and the reverse to installation-----if you are not patient and don't get your hands dirty during your normal work day---see someone who does!!

I dont have the WIS, would you be able to attach please ? Im patient to do the job it must be done, and the dealership wants $1200 for the whole job which I think is too much
your a legend thanks heaps man ! However it doesn't say exactly which covers, and in the photos it appears the top part of the dash is removed to gain access for removal of the EZS, but there is no mention of that in the instructions, is that all there is on the removal for the R230?
