Sitting at a red light when I hear a loud burst and smoke coming from the engine. Car dashboard lights up with "ABC drive carefully" and when i slowly drove to a safe place to park "car display kept saying "stop, car too low "
which was strange as car never sunk down.

When I pulled over and checked , i could see power steering fluid dripping from the driver side wheel well ( in front of the tyre.)

Power steering still works fine as long as I pour in more power steering fluid plus ABC tandem pump was replaced about 2 months ago.

Here is what I think.
Ive got a massive leak .

My question is : will this be expensive to fix ?

If you continued to drive with the blown hose, yes it's probably going to be very expensive. If not, it will be relatively inexpensive.
