ALARM TRIGGERS ON '04 SL 500
Recently, when locking the car with the key fob, after sitting for a couple of minutes, the alarm activates. What is the fix for this problem?

From a previous post of mine please see below:
For a 2003 american drive car, first open hood, there is a 7.5 amp fuse inside the fuse box, 3rd from left as looking into fuse box by drivers side of car. The fuse box very near windshield, left side of car. A slide lever on the box will allow you to access the fuses. If you pull the 7.5 amp fuse that should kill the siren. The siren is in the left front wheel well and after removing the tire and fender liner you can take it out and replace it. The batteries inside are probably going bad or corrosion is causing this annoying problem. There are several threads in this forum about this headache. Search using "siren" in the forum search box to see other comments by our members
