ESP switch does not disable traction
When i hit the start button I see the yellow triangle
light up but when the car is running I don't get the light when pressing the ESP Switch.
Any way to check it?

Try starting the car and turning the steering wheel full right and left.
The ESP light comes on if the battery is drained or disconnected. The wheel turning exercise resets the steering angle sensor, and turns the light off.
See if that works and let us know.

I assume you mean that the ESP warning triangle illuminates briefly when starting the engine, so you know it's working. But when you press the ESP Off button, the triangle is not illuminated? If that's the case, I suspect the button is not working.

Try removing the button and opening it up, I often find broken pieces inside or dirty/corroded contacts. The switches on the center console are frequently subjected to spills and the fluid contamination ruins them easily.
