Sin Visor Too Short
I did some highway driving today and discovered that the sun visor is too short. I was driving west, and with the low Winter dun, it was coming in the driver's side window. Wit the visor pivoted over and extended, it lacks a good ten inches of coverage, basically right where my head is. It's very annoying! I've not had any other MBZ with this issue. I guess I'll look for some sort of aftermarket "as seen on TV" solution.

I dealt with that kind of problem the other day - very annoying situation, but nothing to do when driving.... the sun was literally in my eyes 😄 the sunglasses helped a little, but just like you I'll have to think of a solution...

Cheap solution: Don't drive west at sundown. (<-- Negan)

I have several pairs of sunglasses - Costa and Maui Jim. They don't wrap around enough I guess I need to get some of those "old people" sunglasses! Actually, I found some possible solutions:

I'm not a big Costa fan. I've owned several pair of them and the only ones I've kept have an amber tint that does a good job on a cloudy day. The others either broke or I gave them away because I didn't like the fit or lenses. I prefer Maui Jim. I have two pair - one I keep in my car, one in my wife's car. The problem is, I have to wear corrective lenses. I have progressive glasses that give me the best vision, but I also have multi-focal contacts that I wear on sunny day so I can use sunglasses.
Regardless, I really wish the R230's visor would extend further. Maybe I sot too far back, but it really is annoying. Since I have to drive from BHM to ATL several time a month, it's a real PITA.

I guess we all could use another 10" or so.
Could not a knowledgeable person craft an extension for the visor? This sounds like something that could be done with a 3D printer ... and I confess I've never even seen a 3D printer, so I'm speaking with zero authority and knowledge.
I'm thinking of a visor extension that is molded at its top and bottom so that it slides onto the existing visor. When the existing visor is lifted out of its stow position and rotated into alignment with the driver's side window, the extension can be slid along the visor to a point that provides blockage to the sun.

Aww ... I saw it, but let it go. I resist pointing out other's spelling errors. Life is too short.

I'm actually pretty famous fro my funny typos. I'm in a Usenet group (for you young guys, that's a forum from the days before computers did pictures and video and only showed text on a green screen) where we actually thrive on finding an pointing put typos. It's all in fun, though.
